The Sioux City Community School District exists to develop and
graduate students who have the knowledge, skills and competencies

ATTENDANCE CAMPAIGN
Regular school attendance is crucial for student achievement.
The school district has consistently increased student
attendance and lowered the dropout rate since the inception of
"Missing School?Missing Out," a campaign that has decreased
non-attendance significantly in the district. This award-wing
program has been highly applauded by the business sector and
parents, contributing to its overwhelming success in a short amount
