The Sioux City Community
School District will offer two four-week sessions of traffic
education for this summer for East and North High Schools. West
High School will be offering one session and that will be held at
West Middle School. The cost for the class is $350.
The first session for East and North begins on May 27 and ends on
June 26. The second session begins on June 25 and ends on July 25.
West’s session begins on May 29 and ends on July 8. All classes
will be held Monday through Friday at all schools.
Registration for summer traffic education will begin on April 1. The deadline for all registrations is on April 30. Students must be 14 years of age to register. A completed registration form, a valid permit, and the complete deposit must be taken to one of the three public high schools that you wish to attend for the class by the April 30 deadline. Parents and guardians also have the option to pay for the class on the district website at www.siouxcityschools.org with the PaySchool option.
Registration forms are available at East, North and West High Schools, Central Campus, Bishop Heelan High School and the Siouxland Community Christian School.
Registration may be limited. Students will be accepted for the course, based on the age of the student (birth date, oldest students first). The fee deposit will be returned if a student is not enrolled in a class.
