How to check school E-mail from home

**UPDATE Alert: Passwords are changing every 45 days automatically. If you can't get into e-mail with these instructions, call Tod at 279-6803 and ask to have your password changed.** (You can't change it online from home, you have to call to have it changed)
We often get the question in our department, Below are the
instructions:

Instructions to Access Web
Access E mail from Home (Remember, these are instructions from HOME
- it doesn't work from a school)
A. Logon to your service provider (for ex. AOL, Juno, CableOne,
etc)
B. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) and highlight
the entire URL address and type the following:
C. http://webmail.siouxcityschools.org
D. Press Enter
E. There are two possible ways to logon. If the instructions 1 - 3
don’t work try the
instructions 4 - 6.
1. At username type: yourusername@scschools.net (that you use to
logon to the district computers)
2. At password type your password (that you use to logon to the
district computers)
3. Click OK
4. At username type scschools.net\yourusername (that you use to
logon to the district computers)
5. At password type your password (that you use to logon to the
district computers)
6. Click OK
