Middle
School:
School begins August 21, 2008
East Middle
School will have
registration Wednesday, August 20 at the following times:
8th Graders: 8:30 a.m.
7th Graders: 10:00 a.m.
6th Graders: 1:00 p.m.
Orientation will be held for all NEW students August 18 at 7:00 pm

• North Middle
School will
pre-register students new to the Sioux City Community Schools.
Please call 279-6804 for an appointment. All students will complete
the registration process on the first day of classes, Thursday,
August 21, beginning at 7:40 a.m. There will be an open house for
all students and parents on the evening of Tuesday, August 26, from
7:00 to 8:00 p.m. 6th graders and their parents, plus other
students new to North Middle School, will have a brief orientation
in the main gym at 7:00 p.m. on that evening.
• West
Middle School will
pre-register all students NEW to West Middle School the week of
August 5-7 and the week of August 11. Please call 279-6813 for an
appointment. All students will complete the registration process on
the first day of classes, Thursday August 21.
All 6th Grade students and parents are asked to attend
orientation, Tuesday, August 19, 5:30 – 7:45 PM.
An Open House will be held for 7th & 8th grade students on
Tuesday, August 26, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
High
School:
New students contact the high school to make
an appointment.
Classes begin on THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, 2008
• All 9th grade students will register at their school at 7:55 a.m.
– 11:45 a.m.
• 10th, 11th, 12th grade students will participate in an
orientation the afternoon as follows:
All high schools 1:00 p.m. – 2:55 p.m.
Regular schedule begins on Friday, August 22: 7:55 a.m. – 2:55 pm
at East, North, West
CENTRAL CAMPUS classes begin on Monday, August 25
School lunch will NOT be served at the high schools on Thursday, August 21, 2008.
