DARE GRADUATION
We are extremely proud of our fifth grade students here at Clark School. Fifth graders have been leaning a great deal about the harmful effects drugs and alcohol can cause and about how to take a stand against them. The were able to attend a graduation ceremony at school to honor their promise of staying DRUG FREE!

Reading/Language Arts
Students in our class had the opportunity to work together reading and summarizing a chapter book of choice from our classroom selections. Students were to read, discuss, and summarize each chapter as they read the story. To complete the project, each student studied the story elements by retelling what they read about. Finally, the teams had to plan and create a newscast to promote the book they read. We had a great time! Check out Room 11 News by clicking the link below!

Students Pre-K through 5th grade learned how to become "champions" in everything they do as our school hosted "The Ned Show." Students learned they all have different talents and they will be successful if they remember to Never Give Up, Encourage Others, and Do their Best!

Sioux City History Projects
4th Grade Students

Fourth grade students have been studying Sioux City history during this first quarter of the new school year. We have read about notable people who first settled in the area, past and present landmarks, industry, and the many attractions Sioux City had to offer years ago and has to offer now today. Students were required to construct a history project with a one page report describing a landmark or attraction relative to Sioux City. The video below shows the projects and topics students in our class chose. Check it Out!!!
Outstanding work 4th graders!
