Parents with 2-5-year-old children are encouraged to sign-up by December 1.
Date: Courses are available from October 1 – December 13 Deadline to Register: Extended to December 1 Audience: Parents with children 2-5-years-old (not yet in kindergarten). This workshop is available to parents who intend to enroll their child at Bryant, Hunt A+ Arts, Irving Dual Language, Leeds, Liberty, Loess Hills Computer Programming, Morningside STEM, Riverside, Spalding Park Environmental Sciences, and Unity elementary schools. Additional Information: Downtown for the Holidays is a great way to kick-off the holiday season! This year the Downtown Holiday Lighted Parade will be held on Monday, November 23rd from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Because the health and safety of the community are top-of-mind, the parade will look different this year. Rather than having spectators stand on the streets, the parade will be stationary. Spectators can drive the parade route to view all the lighted floats and see Santa at the holiday tree.
In addition, beginning Saturday, November 28th, Santa will be in the front window of the Warrior Hotel on 6th & Nebraska each Saturday throughout the holidays from Noon – 4 PM.
