Sioux City Future Stars will be playing in the Siouxland Youth Athletics (SYA) league again during the Summer of 2021. By registering through Future Stars, we will ensure your child is placed on a team with their classmates. Some of these teammates may be familiar faces; however, they will also have the opportunity to meet new teammates that may be attending another one of our North feeder schools.
*Please Note: If we do not have enough players registered to make a full team at a certain age, we will work with SYA to have these players kept together, but can be with other players that are not with Future Stars. If this is the case, our Softball committee will notify the child’s parent/guardian and keep in communication.
League Divisions are based on the child’s age as of December 31, 2020 (8U/10U/12U/14U).
Fees: $100 ($80 SYA league registration and $20 jersey)The family is expected to provide softball glove(s), grey softball pants, rubber (no metal) cleats, navy blue softball socks, and navy belt.

The Four-Way Test Essay Contest is available to 6th-grade students who are interested in writing a 200 to 500-word essay on “How can I apply the Rotary Four-Way Test to my life?”
6th-grade students interested in participating must find a teacher or group of teachers who are also willing to participate in the project. Teachers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the flyer and entry form. The flyer describes the contest, its history, and requirements. When students have written their essays teachers must then submit their top ten choices to their local Rotary Club. Once placements have been determined, each club must submit the winning essay to the district Roarty 5610 by March 31, 2021.
The District 5610 winners will be announced online on April 31, 2021.
- The first-place winner will receive a $200 check, a certificate, a Four-Way Test coin, and the chance to read their essay at the District Conference in Deadwood, SD.
