    Information

The Girls of 68 would like to invite the Sioux City Community Schools’ students and their families to the Open Houses at Bruguier’s Cabin in Riverside Park this summer. Due to the pandemic, many of the students were unable to visit the Cabin while they studied Sioux City History. We still would like to provide an opportunity for students to tour where the first settler lived in Sioux City. During the summer of 2021, we are giving tours on the following Sundays: June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, and September 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Masks inside the cabin are appreciated since the Cabin is small.

The Girls of 68 are also having a Memorial Service for War Eagle and Bruguier at War Eagle Park by the monuments of the two men on Saturday, May 29th at 10:00 am.

If you have any questions, please free to call Diane Gardner at 712-490-6506. If no answer, please leave a message.
