Sales Tax Finance Oversight Committee Minutes – August 31, 2020

The Sales Tax Finance Oversight Committee (STFOC) met on Monday, August 31, 2020 in
the Educational Service Center Board Room. Copies of the Agenda, Sales Tax Finance
Oversight Committee Minutes for February 24, 2020 and the February, March, April, May,
June, and July 2020 financial summaries were available for distribution.

Committee Members Present: Dr. Paul Gausman, Brian Fahrendholz, Patty Blankenship,
Suzan Stewart, Grant Haight, John Meyers, and Paul Treft.

Call to Order: Dr. Paul Gausman called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.

Minutes: The February 24, 2020 meeting minutes were approved.

Audit of Cash Disbursements

The following audits of cash disbursements were reviewed and found to be in good order.

  • February 2020 – Grant Haight
  • March 2020 – Paul Treft
  • April 2020 – John Meyers
  • May 2020 – John Meyers
  • June 2020 – Suzan Stewart
  • July 2020 – Suzan Stewart

Financial Summary

The February, March, April, May, June, and July 2020 financial summaries were reviewed.

Construction Update: Brian Fahrendholz

  • Brian gave a brief update on the projects in progress.
  • Brian shared information on the Hunt Elementary project.

Other Items: Dr. Paul Gausman

Dr. Gausman discussed the FY21 estimated sales tax revenue.
