Today is the last day for juniors to turn in the Youth Salute Applications to Ms. Scolaro.
Native American Focus Group will be with Mrs. Sackmann this Thursday in the auditorium right after homeroom until 10:30. Please come and be on time, Nina with PEP will be there!
There is No Focus Group with Mrs. Moyle today. We will not meet again until Tuesday, May 21. May 21 will be our Final Focus Group for the year! Please check emails for more information. Mrs. Moyle will meet with students that have been attending Focus Group regularly later this week to discuss our final group.
After-school tutoring is available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:05 – 4:05 PM in the Media Center.
Our next Saturday School is May 18 from 8AM – Noon, in the Media Center.
Seniors, additional cap/gowns and invitations have been delivered. Stop by the Freshman Office to see if yours is here.
Please check with the front office if you have lost any items such as keys, phones, wallets, debit cards or glasses. We have several items that need to be claimed.
Liberty Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with their Annual Field Day on Thursday, May 16 from 8:50 – 10:50 a.m. and 1:15 – 3:15 p.m.
Riverside Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with their Annual Field Day on Tuesday, May 21 from 7:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
LaunchPad Children’s Museum is looking for volunteers to help with events. Check out their website or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Beyond the Bell is looking for volunteers to help with their Mobile Food Pantry at Hunt Elementary. This takes place every 3rd Tuesday of the month. from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue is looking for volunteers during the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month. Hours are Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Location is Pet Smart at Lakeport Commons.

This is an online volunteer center for Siouxland, and there are now more than 100 nonprofit organizations on Volunteer Siouxland, with more than 50 active needs for volunteers on any given day. It is absolutely the EASIEST way for students to find and sign up for volunteer opportunities. It is also the easiest way to track their volunteer hours – confirmed by the organization. We have even added a field to volunteer profiles so they can identify which school they attend, allowing us to provide reports to the schools.
