Our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classrooms were partnered with an upper grade classroom to share messages of encouragement. Our theme was Kung Fu Panda. Here are a few examples from yesterday. Some groups shared a Kung Fu Panda brain break too!

Students in Ms Zimmerer's room worked in partners and bigger groups to talk about the topic, main idea, and supporting details of various paragraphs.










Students in Mr Putnam's room are working on determining character traits from their story.

Students in Mrs Richter's room using concrete models to solve 3 digit addition problems. 3 students also shared their thinking with the class at the front board.








The Sioux City Art Center has selected two Bryant Bears to display their artwork at the annual Youth Art Month Exhibition. Ider Caal-Mendoza (Third Grade) took home 1st place in his class category and Jimena Perez (Fouth Grade) took home 2nd place in her class category.
Each artist was presented an award during a ceremony on Sunday. Their work will be on display through April and then at all-school show in May. Congratulations Ider and Jimena; way to represent Bryant!
