Sioux City, Iowa – Sioux City Community School District’s East High School will celebrate Homecoming Week, September 20 through September 25.
Coronation will be held on Monday, September 20 at 2:30 pm in the East High School auditorium. In addition, the following spirit days and events are planned:
- Monday, September 20: The Eastys Day
- Tuesday, September 21: Class Movie Day
- Wednesday, September 22: Celebrity Crush Day and powderpuff football game on the East High School practice field at 3:15 pm.
- Thursday, September 23: Red Carpet Ready Day and homecoming parade along Morningside Avenue beginning at 6:30 pm. Following the parade, a bonfire will be held at 8 pm on the East High practice field.
- Friday, September 24: The Football Day and homecoming football game versus Ankeny Centennial at 7 pm. Taste of Morningside/homecoming pregame feed will be held at 5:30 pm at Olsen Stadium.
- Saturday, September 25: Homecoming pancake feed, sponsored by the East High School Band Department, in the East High School commons from 8 am to 11 am. Homecoming dance in the East High School commons from 8 pm to 11 pm.
