Culture Leaders are Ready to Help our District LVL UP
As the Sioux City Community School District hits "START" on a new school year, the Woo Crew staff ambassador program is preparing to lead staff recognition, engagement, and community connection across all schools and departments.
Established in 2026, the Woo Crew works to boost morale, strengthen staff connections, and ensure every team member feels valued, supported, and celebrated. The group focuses on four main goals: elevating staff recognition and district culture, fostering collaboration between departments and schools, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and expanding the district's community presence.
Throughout the school year, Woo Crew ambassadors will shape school culture through daily initiatives. Members will welcome new hires during building orientations, partner with school leaders to host local celebrations, and promote this year’s "LVL UP" theme. Beyond the buildings, ambassadors will volunteer at district and community events to build high-visibility engagement.
