Investing in Technology to Enhance Student Learning
Technology tools and infrastructure will help continuously improve strategic plan priority areas, especially in the classroom by enhancing instructional methodology, supporting assessments, providing data analysis tools, and helping prepare our students with 21st-century workplace skills.
The District has invested in technology to enhance the student learning experience. Elementary students use iPads, computers, and a host of technology devices throughout the day to experience enhanced learning. Then, in middle school and high school, each student is given a personal laptop to use for school purposes.
The District’s Help Desk is a single point of contact to assist staff and students with District provided devices and supported software and hardware. Assistance is available from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Students may contact the Help Desk by emailing Help Desk or by calling 712-279-6803. Please provide the following details: the student’s first name, last name and current school; the details of the device issue; and a return phone number. A technician will respond to assist with the issue.
