Sioux City, Iowa - Students at Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School are planning two special concerts in honor of Veterans Day on Friday, November 10 in the elementary school gym.
At 1 pm, students in kindergarten, first, and second grades will perform along with fourth and fifth grade students involved in playing the hand chimes. Following that concert, students in third, fourth, and fifth grades will perform at 2:15 pm along with fourth and fifth grade students playing the hand chimes.
Misty Cadets in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) will present the colors at the beginning of both concerts.
All veterans are invited to the concerts, so students can thank them for their service.
