Sioux City, Iowa--Artwork from students across Sioux City will be on display as part of ArtWorks, scheduled from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3 at the Southern Hills Mall near Barnes and Noble.
ArtWorks will feature more than 1,000 pieces of original artwork from students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade representing all Sioux City Community School District schools.
Siouxlanders may view the ArtWorks exhibit:
Friday, May 1 from 5 pm to 8 pm
Saturday, May 2 from 10 am to 7 pm
Sunday, May 3 from 1 pm to 4 pm
The mission of ArtWorks is to create a district-wide display, showcasing and celebrating students' achievements in art. Those attending ArtWorks receive a firsthand experience of art education in the District, gaining a better understanding of the diverse education students receive in art and art production.
