Preschool registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now open!
All preschools within the Sioux City Community School District are affiliates of the Preschool Initiative Program and are offered at nine locations. Locations include Bryant Elementary, Clark Early Childhood Center, Hunt A+ Arts Elementary, Leeds Elementary, Morningside STEM Elementary, Nodland Elementary, Spalding Park Environmental Sciences Elementary, and Unity Elementary.
Sioux City Preschools offer:
- Certified teacher in every classroom
- Low student to teacher ratio of 1:10
- A set curriculum
- State verification that our program follows state standards
- Regular Assessments and conferences to monitor your child’s progress
Qualifying children must be Iowa residents and four years old by September 15 of that school year. For example, preschool students for the 2022-2023 school year must be four years old by September 15, 2022.
Applications will be available online and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The Sioux City Community School District has a limited number of preschool openings; therefore applicants are encouraged to apply when registration opens.
